The library in West Kirby  has recently had an exhibition room refurbished and June Lornie was asked to hold their first exhibition.  They wanted her to help them celebrate the 150th anniversary of Alice by exhibiting her series of pictures illustrating Alice in Wonderland.    Joining June were David Nickson and Franki Aston who have created Alice in Wonderland in wooden dioramas.

The private view was held on the 25th June 2015 where the exhibition was opened by  Colin Simpson - director of Birkenhead’s Williamson Art Gallery & Museum. The exhibition ran to the 11th July.

Irene Rutter, a member of the Daresbury Lewis Carroll Society and Chairman of The Lewis Carroll Centre at All Saints' Church Daresbury, came along to the exhibition on Friday July 3rd  to give a talk about Lewis Carroll and the Daresbury church.
