Davenports Tea Rooms - Alice Day 3^rd July 2011

Davenports at Acton Bridge, being the nearest tea rooms to Morphany Lane have entered into the spirit of ‘Alice’ and this year was no exception.
Beth, (left) one of a large party enjoying the lovely cakes and sandwiches came as ‘Alice.’ One of her friends even provided a  hoop for the game of croquet which was played afterwards in the sunshine!     Davenports ‘Alice’ themed tea rooms are in Acton Bridge on the main A49 road near Daresbury and are an ideal meeting point for any Carrollians going to visit the Lewis Carroll sites nearby.
